Protecting Your Dog's Paws Naturally

No matter what time of year it is, our dog's paws take a beating.

Whether it's the cold winter snow or the hot summer pavement, it's our job to make sure their paws are protected from these harsh conditions.

But how do we do it in a natural and safe way?

That's where Natural Dog Company comes in...
Natural Dog Company really does live up to its name. The ingredients in each product are organic, vegan and all-natural. Best of all, their products are hand crafted right here in the USA.

After the harsh winter we just had and now the hot summer we are in, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to give Natural Dog Company's Paw Soother and the PawTector a try.

  2. Sounds like some great products... especially for our New England doggies!

  3. Joey dog has a kind of cocker spaniel psoriasis on his nose. We put olive oil on it, and it works really well to take off the rough scaly skin.

  4. I don't pay enough attention to the dogs' paws. They can get very rough. Does this make their paw pads slippery though? Sheba has enough trouble getting traction on our wood floors, and I wouldn't want to make that worse.

    1. Hi Janet, it can make their paws slippery. I usually bring them outside to apply it and then keep them occupied with a toy until it has soaked into their pads. Thanks for stopping by!

  6. You just sold me on this product. I love it. The pictures are gorgeous.

I use coconut oil on our dogs paws. In the summer, I keep them off pavement as much as possible except for early morning walks, but their paws still get dry. The winter is the bad part, because if it snows (it hasn't in a few years) they we deal with cracked paws. I started wiping them down with an apple cider vinegar mixture I created and then rubbing them with coconut oil.

I like the idea of this product so I can have something on the go when I need it.
